Kylian Mbappé Confirms He's Leaving Paris Saint-Germain

Earlier this week, Paris Saint-Germain was eliminated from the Champions League. This unfortunate end for Les Parisiens leaves another bad mark on the club's history and reputation. Although PSG won the French League title again and will play in the French Cup final later this month, their failure to win the UCL title is humiliating. And now that Kylian Mbappé is on his way out, the future of Paris Saint-Germain is in question.

On Friday, Fabrizio Romano reported that Mbappé publicly confirmed that he'll leave the club. Earlier this year, Mbappé informed PSG that he would depart this summer once his contract expires. In this case, he'll leave the French capital as a free agent. By now, it's clearer than ever that he's headed for Real Madrid. Over time, however, there have been rumors/reports that Liverpool is a possible destination, but they've never been taken quite seriously.

Two years ago, Mbappé shocked the world when he snubbed Real Madrid in favor of staying with Paris Saint-Germain. It was believed that Real Madrid would never try to sign the French forward again. However, it seems to be happening. It can be argued that maybe in 2022, Mbappé was not ready to play for Real Madrid, as far as his maturity at the time.

After the 2022 World Cup, Mbappé's behavior changed. As he enters his prime, his improved behavior and ability to take on the role of a leader are showing. Mbappé is keen on winning a few UCL titles and leading France to another World Cup title triumph and one or two European title triumphs. With Mbappé already a national hero in France, he's looking to do more for his country and club.

In 306 games for PSG, Mbappé scored 255 goals and provided 108 assists. At 25 years of age, he is already France's third-all-time leading scorer. His list of accomplishments is already endless. With an inevitable move to one of the world's most successful and dominant football clubs, the best of Mbappé has yet to come. In other words, BRACE YOURSELVES, we have seen NOTHING YET!
