Chiefs Head to Buffalo for Potential Bills Revenge Game

After a win in the bitter cold against the Miami Dolphins, who always struggle in the cold, the Kansas City Chiefs head to Buffalo to take on the Bills, one of the best cold-weather teams in the NFL. With Bills Mafia still having their most recent playoff meeting seared into their memory, they'll be looking to put down a Chiefs team that has struggled to this point in the season.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are two of the premiere young talents in the NFL, and while their battles over the past few years have always left fans wanting more, this one promises to be one of the best yet.

While the Chiefs have struggled for consistency over an up and down campaign, they roared into the playoffs, decimating the Dolphins 26 - 7 in one of the coldest NFL games in history, boasting a kickoff temperature of 27 degrees below zero with wind chill. While the weather in Buffalo won't be quite as bad, the temperature still threatens to drop to the single digits with wind chill.

The Bills won their first game against the surprise playoff entrant Pittsburgh Steelers, in a game that had to be moved to Monday night due to extreme winter weather in Buffalo. Both teams will need to look to their run games, with ball security being a critical part of a winning strategy in what is sure to be another winter classic. This rivalry may not be fresh, but it is far from over.

The winner of this game will go on to face the winner of Houston at Baltimore, where rookie CJ Stroud will take on a dominant Ravens defense and MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson. After what has been an absolute storybook run for him, most fans will call the season a success for the Texans either way.
